it’s my mama’s birthday today and this (see below) sums up
her attitude about life:
she’s been through a lot in her [number redacted] years and
though she’s probably in possession of more anti-aging creams than any beauty
supply store in the tri-state area, she never complains about aging—because she’s beaten the odds
several times now. she’s just happy to be here.
and we’re happy to have her here. especially Matty.
